How many people does it take to dragon boat?

A maximum of 20 people can fit into a dragon boat. 12 to 18 people are the ideal number.

What does a dragon boat event cost?

That depends on location, number of participants and duration of the event. Simply fill out our non-binding offer form and you will immediately receive our indicative quote.

Where do dragon boat trips take place?

Everywhere, as long as it is a stagnant or calmly flowing water. We are happy to come to you, to your desired place.

What kind of clothes do you wear for dragon boating?

Dragon boating is an adventure sport where you get wet – even if you don't capsize. That's why we advise our customers to bring clothes that can get wet. When the weather is nice, it can also be a swimsuit, T-shirt and barefoot or flip-flop. When it's cooler: tracksuit trousers, sweater, rain jacket, and sneakers.

Can you capsize?

Yes, dragon boats can capsize. But as long as you follow the instructions of dragonboatevents.ch the chance is low – that happens very rarely.

What are the security measures?

Each participant wears a life jacket. Also, a motorboat accompanies us at every event – always. If a boat capsizes, the motorboat is immediately on the spot.

Can children also go dragon boating?

Sure. Dragon boating is easy from the age of 12.

What are the people doing at the event who don't want to go on a dragon boat?

Tell us early enough, we will gladly take another motorboat with us.

What do we do when it rains?

Dragon boating is an outdoor sport. In nature. Every lake and river has its charms – even when it rains. We know from experience: The weather hardly plays a trick on the fun factor. That's why we hold our events in all weathers.

Is there insurance?

Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. The material is insured by dragonboatevents.ch.

What do we do after the dragon boat ride?

In Eglisau we will be happy to organize a BBQ for you, an aperitif or a dinner in a dignified ambiance. According to your wishes.
